Parents' Association
The Parents’ Association of Cambridge School (PAC) is committed to supporting the relationship between parents, students, staff, and administration. The Association provides assistance and support for various social and school-related activities in a volunteer capacity. PAC is dedicated to the idea of our school as a community. We welcome and encourage all parents to participate and be involved in PAC.

Volunteer Activities of PAC
Class Parents
- Act as liaison between other parents within their class levels and PAC
- Help organize class parties
- Assist with enlisting volunteers for school-related functions
Buddy System
- Call and welcome new families to Cambridge School
Open Houses
- Help with refreshments, greet visitors, and speak/provide testimonials
Book Exchange
- Families donate used books to the school, and students shop at the “used bookstore”. The charge is 25-50 cents for gently used books. The Book Exchange is held several times during the year.
Uniform Exchange
- Used uniform tops, khaki pants, skirts, sweats, and shorts are donated and available for purchase ($2.00 for all items except sweatshirts and sweatpants which are $5.00).
Scholastic Book Fair (November)
- Held once a year, this event involves the organization and sale of books. Organizer will need to enlist volunteers.
Parent Social
- Host a party for parents
Hospitality
- Organize and provide refreshments as needed for school events and Middle School Socials
- Cambridge Middle School students (Grades 6-8) are invited to area school dances and chaperones are required.
Yearbook
- Organize and design the yearbook.
Staff Appreciation Luncheon (Spring)
- This event requires a host, a coordinator, and assistance cooking, setting-up, and cleaning up.
Field Day Host
Read-a-thon (Winter)
- Students in all classes track their reading (number of pages read per night), reporting totals every Friday, to see how many pages the whole school can read together in a three week period. Last year we read a combined total of 31,254 pages!

Common Ground
Cambridge School is a participating member of Common Ground, a collaborative effort of thirteen Princeton area independent schools and their parents’ associations. Common Ground sponsors lectures featuring prominent speakers in the field of education and parenting issues.
