Individuals who
contact Cambridge School for information will speak with a member of
the Admission team who will answer their questions and discuss their
child’s possible eligibility. An information packet will be sent to
interested families. |

An appointment will be arranged
through our Admission Office for parent(s) to observe our classrooms
and tour Cambridge. Parents are also encouraged to attend an
Admission Open House. Open House dates are listed on our web site
and can also be obtained by calling or emailing our Admission Office.

A completed Admission Application, supporting
documents and a $325 non-refundable application fee is then submitted
to Cambridge School Admission Office.
Supporting Documents may include all administered Educational and
Psychological Testing Reports, Individual Educational Plans (IEP),
Speech and Language Assessments and school records

Upon receipt of all materials, the
Director of Admission will review the documents and a Baseline
Placement Testing date will be set up for the applicant. This
includes an interview with the child, a screening to assess his/her
levels and learning style and a tour of the school. After the
Baseline Placement Testing is complete, the Director of Admission or
member of the admission committee will meet and discuss the testing
results with the parents. This is all included in the application fee.

The Admission Committee meets
weekly to review the applicants. An offer for
placement will be extended to appropriate candidates by phone and in
the form of an acceptance letter.
Please note: We try our best to let families know during their
initial contact with the school if we feel Cambridge is not the right
educational environment for their child, however; sometimes this is not
apparent until later in the process. In these instances, families
will be notified as soon as possible
